There are some commonly used structures involved in both production (strikes, etc.) and songs (verses, hooks, etc.). These really vary depending on the type of music you do (the hip-hop than R & B vs. Pop). This is very useful for Google “songs” and learn everything you can about the ship. Invest time in yourself! It’s your career!
The best place you can start right now, listening to the radio or bet (even if you do not like it) and examine the type of music that gets played the most. Also check sites like HipHopDX, AllHipHop.com and World Star HipHop. Listen to what’s out there and pay attention to the number of views / listens to every type of song gets.
